Senior DevOps & Cloud Governance Engineer, Industry 4.0

Summary
The Azure Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for both on-prem infrastructure as well as MS Azure experience. Exciting opportunity to work with a fantastic organization! The ideal candidate will be part of the team enabling the journey from On-Premise to Omni Cloud utilizing Microsoft Azure in the areas of architecture, development, security, operations, integration, migration, and managed services.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Working alongside the engineering team to develop Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines

· Aid in the migration to a service-oriented architecture

· Aid in the rollout of new tech across the company (i.e. Kubernetes)

· Automate the use of Azure the use of IaC tools (i.e. ARM, Terraform templates, PowerShell, Azure CLI)

· Manage Microsoft Power Platform

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years working within software engineering roles with a focus on Azure-based infrastructure
  • 3+ years working with Infrastructure, DevOps, or Site Reliability
  • 2+ years automating Azure infrastructure deployment
  • 2+ years’ experience with Docker/Kubernetes/AKS ecosystem.
  • Must be able to program automation processes with ARM, Teraform, PowerShell, Azure CLI, bash
  • Professional knowledge working on the automation through infrastructure
  • Extensive experience working with ARM and Terraform
  • Experience working with modern cloud-native runtime platforms and the tech that relates to them (ASQL, Service Bus, EventHub, Event Grid, Databricks. ADF, AppService, Azure Functions, AAD, Azure Monitor)
  • Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently to support deadlines
  • Demonstrate ability to use problem solving techniques such as root cause analysis to resolve issues
  • Create documentation and implementation plans to allow support teams to build and manage the internal cloud environment
